We offer two compact water tanks (30.5cm x 38.0cm x 38.0cm, or 38.0cm x 38.0cm x 38.0cm) with horizontal scale and water drain kit, as well as your choice of either manual depth dose apparatus or motorized depth dose system with remote control/readout.

The size and design of these tanks are ideal for both consulting physicists who need a portable system, as well as budget-conscious radiotherapy treatment centers which desire economy without sacrificing accuracy.

MED-TEC water tanks are small enough for convenient, quick setup, yet provide a sufficiently large internal volume for analysis of clinically-relevant areas of radiation therapy beams. The walls of these high-quality tanks are constructed from 9.525mm- thick (3/8") clear acrylic, and are compatible with TG-21 and other protocols for beam quality control.

The manual depth dose apparatus is constructed from acrylic, brass, Teflon, and stainless steel for accuracy and durability. The precision-machined manual probe drive is attached to the side of the water tank. A top-mounted manual crank and a four-digit counter are provided for exact vertical positioning of the measuring probe within the tank. Total vertical travel of the probe holder is 25.0cm. The mechanical resolution of the vertical drive mechanism is 0.1mm. The manual depth dose device may also be relocated horizontally along the wall of the water tank using the horizontal scale provided. Acrylic probe holders for micro chambers, Farmer-type chambers, or parallel plate chambers are included with this system.
