This system was designed to minimize stretching of the thermoplastic used in head and neck fixation, providing more rigid support than conventional systems. The “Drape-and-Mold” thermoplastic is available in several sizes, in both solid and perforated. The thermoplastic sheets snap into reusable handles for easy control of the softened thermoplastic. The reusable side handles index and lock down to your choice of baseplates:
- Standard carbon fiber or acrylic baseplate.
- Carbon Fiber Type-S™ baseplate. Designed to place the head off the end of the treatment couch, providing a 360º treatment arc
The drape-and-mold system also uses an optional back piece/handle over the head.
