Our rugged, radiotranslucent carbon fiber baseplate features indexing points for use with our IPPS indexing couch/Lok-Bar™, and is available in a standard supine model. The baseplate accommodates the Uni-frame™ and Drape and Mold thermoplastic-based head fixation systems.

All Baseplates are designed to provide linear indexing to within ± 1 mm and angular indexing (where applicable) to ± 2°, as referenced to the CT, simulator or treatment table when used in a typical clinical environment. However, the actual repeatability observed is dependent on the user’s skill, the actual clinical environment, and individual patient positioning variables.

1. Baseplates are designed to support only the weight of the patient’s head, not the full weight of the patient. Exceeding the recommended support weight may cause product damage and/or injury to patient.
2. Discontinue use if baseplate material shows signs of yellowing, or any discoloration, or has become translucent.
3. Product must be packaged in undamaged, original packaging.
4. Packaged product must not be exposed to sources of direct heat or sunlight; nor be exposed to more than a total maximum of 15 weeks at this environment.
5. Allow product to acclimatize to the Typical Usage Environment for at least 24 hours before use.
