P11. Dose Correlation of a MOSFET dosimeter for in-vivo skin dosimetry in dynamic and omni wedged 6MV/18MV photon beams. Lee Tao and A. Kalend, U. of Pittsburgh, PA. Abstract: Poster Paper presented at AAPM, Nashville, TN, 1999. It shows that there was a good correlation between expected doses and measured doses with the MOSFETs except for high wedge angles. (Poster Paper not yet available.)

P12. IMRT Dose Verification using MOSFET dosimeters. M. Kleiman, S. McGinley, A. Jones, Sacred Heart, Allentown, PA. Abstract: Poster Paper presented at AAPM, Nashville, TN, 1999. It indicates that the new “Isotropic” MOSFETs gave good results in IMRT set up using phantoms with the NOMOS system using the Corvus treatment planning system.
P13. Partial bolus verification of patient dose via MOSFET dosimeters. D. Lightfoot Allegheny University of Health Sciences, Philadelphia, PA. Abstract: Poster Paper presented at AAPM, Nashville, TN, 1999.Determination of Dmax using partial bolus on patients for photon irradiations led to some apparent discrepancies (~ 6%) between planned and measured doses, especially at short SSD values. It was determined that the higher dose recorded by the MOSFET under partial bolus conditions is more representative of the true patient dose.

P14. Mixed-beam 3-D conformal therapy: dosimetric verification. P. Halvorsen and S. Parker, U. of N. Carolina, NC. Abstract: Poster Paper presented at AAPM, Nashville, TN, 1999. As part of this work the standard MOSFET was evaluated over a wide range of photon and electron energies and was used in both phantoms and patients in IMRT procedures set up and implementation. Discrepancies were found in the treatment planning algorithms using the MOSFET and other measured values.
